Harbour Biomed Aims To Develop Cancer Therapy

Cancer treatments are by far the greatest hurdle that modern science has come across. Unlike other ailments, cancer is caused due to different factors and the treatment for all types of cancers is not the same. Shanghai based, Harbour Biomed is working towards development of new cancer therapies using its capabilities in antibody technology.

Harbour Biomed’s patented technology allows them to develop antibodies in mice that can target cancerous cells or tumours in humans thereby reducing cost and time of development of therapy. The company’s R&D office is in Shanghai while it operates from Cambridge, MA and develops antibodies at its Rotterdam unit in the Netherlands.
