The Ocean Cleanup Aims To Cleanup The Oceans

Founded in 2013, by the Boyan Slat, the Ocean Cleanup is exactly what it sounds like – an ocean clean up. Dumping plastic and other waste into our oceans has been happening for decades, and with the rising amount of pollutants now endangering the very inhabitants of the ocean, the solution ‘we’ come up with – trying not to dump it in the ocean any more.

Well that was is not enough and so Boyan Slat a young entrepreneur set up the Ocean Cleanup project at the early age of 17, with a determination to use technology to better our environment. This non profit organization is the first of its kind, and there needs to be more of these coming up.
